MCU arranges to open Masters Degree courses in Republic of South Korea

Busan, Republic of South Korea : September 7, 2551 - the Most Venerable Dr. Phra Dharmakosajarn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University was the chairperson in the meeting of Executive Committee of Dongguk Buddhist Chonbob College.
This Affiliated Institution to MCU has been opened in Republic of South Korea for 10 years so that the South Korean people can study the courses of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Korean language.
Dr. Hu, the Director of Dongguk Buddhist Chonbob College proposed to open the Masters Degree courses and the meeting voted to present it to the University Council to further conduct the courses of studies.
Thereafter the management team of MCU joined in the event of taking the five precepts, which is officially observed by the South Korean people. It is said that the way of observing the five basic Buddhist precepts by the Korean people has been in practice even from the ancient time.
