On August 3 2553/2010, the Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs, Acting Director of the Buddhist Research Institute of MCU, and Assistant Abbot of Wat Arunrajavararam, Phrakhrupalad Suvathanavachirakhun (Sawai Chotiko), Phrakhrupalad Suvathanaphromkhun, Phramaha Suthep Supandito (Assistant to the Rector for Foreign Affairs) and Researchers from MCU; Mr. Sanit Chai Wong Kot, Assoc. Dr. Panuwat Suriyachat, along with the researchers in Japan: Ven. Kunitomo, Mr. Nobou Toyoda, and Mr. H. Ue, discussed Buddhist research with the University of Hanazomo, Kyoto, Japan.
Ven. Kunitomo, Dr. Shizuka Sasaki, Dr. Thomas Kirchner (International Institute of Buddhist Zen Sect), and Sen Wah have been invited to join the 3rd International Buddhist Research Seminar, which will be organized by the Buddhist Research Institute of MCU, on 8th-10th of January 2554/2011.
