On 27^th March 2556/2013, when the Rector of MCU was in Nay Pyi Taw, Dr Sai Mauk Kham, Vice-President of Myanmar’s wife Nang Shw Hmon called on him and offered provision to the Rector this morning. During the meeting take place, they have discussed with the religious activities such as Vesak celebration and International Buddhist conference in Thailand. The Rector of MCU is willing to invite Vice President of Myanmar for participating the 10^th anniversary of UN Vesak celebration in Bangkok in May. Nang Shwe Hmon said that she wish to come for the UN Vesak celebration if the scheduling isn’t the tight.
