A Study of Using Principle IV for Developing Discipline class 6th secondary Student at Ayutthaya Wittayalai School

Abstract

  The research aimed to study the developing responsibility of Matthayomsuksa 6 students, Ayutthaya Wittayalai School toward the way of Principle IV, to compare their responsibility and to study the way to increase their responsibility. 

The samples of the studying were 250 Matthayomsuksa 6 students, Academic year 2013 ,Ayutthaya Wittayalai School, Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya Province ;The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3. The instruments were sets of rating scale questionnaires. The data analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one – way anova which were calculated by computer program. 
The result of the study showed that: The Matthayomsuksa 6 students, Ayutthaya Wittayalai School responsibility toward the way of Principle IV  were in the highest level. As the details in each items were in the highest; due to the most to the least as following : the responsibility toward school, responsibility toward behavior, responsibility toward community and nation, responsibility toward family, and responsibility toward their education. 
The result of the comparing studying data Matthayomsuksa 6 students, Ayutthaya Wittayalai School toward the way of Principle IV  divided by gender and parents’ occupations showed that there are thedifference by significant statistic at 0.05. The dividing by class room, studying program, grade point average and parental status showed that there were no difference by significant statistic at 0.05. 
Suggestion 1. In term of education, students should satisfy in what they are studying and pay more attention .Because of satisfaction lead them to be more intelligent and gain more intension. Students should show their studying achievement to their teachers and their parents regularly. Teachers should develop their teaching methods, thinking pattern, motivate them to get more responsible in leaning as well. 2. Inter m of appropriated behavior, as the main point, student should be royal to whoever support them. The royalty can lead them to be appropriated in whatever they have done. School should set the routine religion activities. At the same time, teachers should be their models in term of be punctual, devoted for both their students and their school. 3. In term of responsibility toward family, there should have lovely relationship activities between family members and school, too. 4. In term of the responsibility toward school, they should set co-operating activities and motivate students by giving them assignments and then give them marks, certificate of attendance ,etc. 5. In term of responsibility toward community and nation, should follow up students’ behavior regularly of their social mind, their living areas. Should have students write the report and ask for the leader of the communities write letters of recommendation to them. This can be one of documents to support their appropriated behavior for school scholarship application if they want to.
