The Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students.

Abstract

  The purposes of this research were as follows: 1) To study the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students in Muang District, Nakhonsawan Province. 2) To compare the opinions towards the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students in Muang District, Nakhonsawan Province, classified by personal factors and 3) To study problems, barriers and suggestions in the education of the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students in Muang District, Nakhonsawan Province. The study sample group consisted of students who were studying in technical college. Students at the level of year 1-3, in the academic year 2556 B.E, in Muang District, Nakhonsawan Province.The sample size composed of 327 persons. Research methodology was Survey Research and data was collected through the use of questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis of the study was tested by t-test and One Way ANOVA. If there are significant differences, the Least Significant Difference, LSD, would be further computed. A summary of the problems, barriers and suggestions would be by analysis and synthesis of data. 

The findings of the study were as follows: Students opinions towards the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students, Muang District, Nakhonsawan Province as a whole was in high mean score (X=3.75). When considering each aspect, it was also found in high mean score in all aspects.
Comparison results: the Eight Virtues affecting secondary students in Paisali District, Nakhonsawan Province classified by personal factors including gender, educational level, grade point average, income and professional parents as a whole, showed no significant differences. When considering each aspect, it was found that there were no statistically significant differences, thus rejecting the hypothesis. But it also found that the overall difference when considering each aspect was different. The hypothesis was accepted when viewed as a whole. In the Grade Point Average: it was found that in diligence and civility, there were differences, statistically significant at .01.In economy and cleanliness, differences were found, statistically significant at .05. The hypothesis was accepted. In the professional parents, it was found that in diligence and economy there were differences, statistically significant at .05. The hypothesis was accepted.
Form applications of the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students, Mueng District, Nakhonsawan Province divided into two stages were; 1) Applications of the Eight Virtues and  2) The process of teaching  for Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students  which was described in details below.
Step1. Applications of the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students in eight aspects were diligence, economy, honesty, discipline, civility, cleanliness, unity and having a good spirit. Defined as a form of the Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students, Mueng District, Nakhonsawan Province, for use with administrators, teachers, parents and students as step 2. The process of teaching  for Eight Virtues for Nakhonsawan Technical College Students. After the procedure at step 1, then the second step 2 were to create the highest level of the students.
