Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphan Buri Province

Abstract

 The objectives of this research are : (1) to study the Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphanburi Province, (2) to compare the Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphanburi Province, classified by personal factors, and (3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions towards the Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphanburi Province.

Study using the Mixed Method Research is a method of qualitative research by a Documentary Analysis with in-depth interviews, and Quantitative Research. The survey research was carried out in this study. The samples used in this study were 207 Administrators Teachers and Students in Suphanburi Province, being drawn by cluster sampling technique. The tool used in data collection was questionnaire comprising open-ended The data analysis was computed by using statistical techniques such as the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, F-test and analysis ANOVA (One way analysis of variance), and to compare the differences of paired means, the Least Significant Difference (LSD) was employed.

The findings of this research are as follows:

1. Administrators Teachers and Students in Suphanburi Province opinions towards the Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphanburi Province were overall at a high level  ( = 3.55). Having considered by each aspect, it was also rated at the high levels in the location and the program whereas others such as personnel at moderate levels.

2. With regard to comparison of the Administrators Teachers and Students in Suphanburi Province opinions towards the Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphanburi Province, classified by personal factors, it was found that status, age, years of ordination and level of Pali studies had no significant differences,  thus rejecting the formulated hypotheses. While the level of general education and Dhamma studies respondents had statistical significant differences towards the Pali Education Management effectiveness of Sangha in Suphanburi Province at .05 level of confidence, therefore, accepting the set hypotheses..

3. The suggestions relating to Sangha  should be provided to support the ministry of personnel, budget and quality. In the study of Pali and not widely used. The structure of the program should be improved, and how to share the results of modern research. And most beneficial to students. As a successor to the old religion.
