Abstract

 The objectives of this research entitled “The Roles of Sangha Administrators in Sangha Administration of Songkhla Province”, are: 1) to study the Roles of Sangha Administrators in Sangha Administration fo Songkhla Province, 2) to compare the Roles of Sangha Administrators in Sangha Administration of Songkhla Province through the personal status, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and guidelines toward the Roles of Sangha Administrators in Sangha Administration of Songkhla Province. In this study is research combines quantitative research, Field Study from the Sangha in Songkhla province amount 185 samples  was a survey research, which uses a questionnaire as a tool to collect data.  The questionnaire is both closed and open-ended. Researcher analyzed the data obtained by. the frequency Values, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, F-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance. When see the difference, therefore, in order to compare the differences of averages in pair’s by the way Significant Difference to a minimum or Least Significant Difference : LSD, and Qualitative Research by collecting information of the Sangha Administrators in Songkhla 5 is used as a structured interview To collect data, in order to get the information more clearly.

 

 

 

The results show that:

                   1. The Roles of Sangha Administrators in Sangha Administration of Songkhla Province, as a whole was low. The mean was 2.30 when it was also found that the Religious Studies and Education Welfare, at a middle level. The rule of the clergy, the propagation of Buddhism, the public assistance, and the public welfare, low level in all aspects.

                   2. Compare the roles of Sangha administrators in sangha administration of Songkhla Province, According to the opinion of the clergy, classified as personal status found that, personal status in the field of the Dharma graduate of the priest responded which effect on the roles of Sangha administrators in sangha administration of Songkhla Province. Overall, significantly different at the 0.01 level which is based on the assumptions set. The personal status of the age, the rainy season, the elementary education, and the Pali graduate no result at the difference.

                   3) Suggestions to improve management efficiency monastery of the ecclesiastical official Sangha of Songkhla Province, such as, (1) the field of Administrators, there should be training to develop skills and knowledge to the ecclesiastical official Sangha management at all levels. And there should be held the ecclesiastical official Sangha for the benefit of the ruling clergy. (2) The field of Buddhist studies, there should be recruit the Scripture personnel are enough to recruit teachers and students reside in every office. And the teaching materials should be modernized to help save time in teaching. (3) The field of Welfare education, there should be coordination between the monasteries, to distribute the funding of education in all schools. And the monasteries should be liaison with government and private sponsored or have an obligation to support the education of students in the area. (4) The field of Buddhism dissemination, there should be improve the education of priests in order to have knowledge, able to teach ethics, develop virtue to the public more effectively with people of all ages. And the Sangha should be work proactively that point to do not wait for people to find the monastery, but as the Dharma to the people at home. (5) The field of Public assistance, there should be taken to the ecclesiastical official Sangha care of bed and seat (Senasana) are available rather than building a new one. And promote the construction of the unique indigenous art of cloister (religion residence). And (6) the field of Public Welfare there should be coordinate and cooperate with government agencies or local government entity for relief to prevent a repetition, benefits are not fully developed. And should be set goals / objectives are clear before you begin work.
