Abstract

 

The research of  the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation according to the Sangahavatthu Dhamma of Civil Defence Volunteers at Sansaimahawong Municipal  Sarapee DisTrict Chiangmai  with the aims to, 1) to study the prevention               and mitigation of Civil Defence volunteers by personal factors. 2) to compare         the performance of the Prevention and Mitigation of Civil Defence Volunteers         by Sangahavatthu the fair, and 3) to study the problems and recommendations on the prevention and mitigation of Civil Defence volunteers by Sangahavatthu the fair. This research is a hybrid (Mixed Medthod) population and sample used in this study        is voluntary Civil Defence  116  people. For determining the sample size by using square blocks of Krejcie & Morgan. The sample size was 92 people. Then  sampling and data collection using the questionnaire and analyzed the data using software packages for social science research. Analysis were Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, hypothesis  testing with T-test and F-test,  using one-way analysis of variance (One Way Anova), The case of variables form three groups up to find that there are differences examined,  differences in pairs using a variance Least Significant Difference. In part of an open-ended. Question to show the problem, obstacles and suggestions. The researchers grouped the issues defined in an open-ended questionnaire.  Then it analyzes by using frequency and data from interviews.        The researcher grouped data The essence of the interview. Then analyzed the data by Content Analysis Thechnique.

 

 The results found that.

 1. Civil Defence volunteers, mostly males, were 70 people, representing 76.1 percent, the age between 41-60 year amount 62 people, representing 67.4 percent, the married amount 84 people, representing 91.3 percent, the average monthly income of between 5,000-10,000 baht amount 66 people, representing 71.7 percent, Primary education amount 75 people, representing 81.5 percent, a Study    of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Programme in the civil defense volunteers amount 45 people, representing 48.9 percent.

2. The analysis of data about the level of public opinion on the Prevention and Mitigation of Civil Defence volunteers by Sangahavatthu objects found unfair,  The overall level was high (X̅ = 3.62) considering that it was found     the Piyavaca, Atthacariya and Samanattata at a high level, Tarn is moderate.

3.  A comparative study of public opinion on the prevention and relief. According to the Justice Department Sangahavatthu  by personal factors. Research found that  Civil Defence volunteers are Sex, Age, Marital status, Education different. Have a comment on Prevention and Mitigation by Sangahavatthu the fair is             no different. While Civil Defence volunteers with an average income per month     and Study of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation different. Have a comment on Prevention and Mitigation by Sangahavatthu the fair the difference was statistically significant at the 0.05 level.          

4. Problems and Suggestions on Prevention and Mitigation by Sangahavatthu the fair is found is the Tarn lack of experience in disaster prevention and relief, Training should be provided to improve the performance of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation always, is the Piyavaca use verbs verbally disrespectful      to the people, should provide training in the service, is the Atthacariya lack of empathy, willingness to help the victims, There should be an awareness of the services on duty,  is the Samanattata treating victims are not equal, Victims should be treated equally, Consistently.      

5. The qualitative study found the most important information, Focus    on a review of cognitive training in the prevention and mitigation are always different, Speaking verbal polite, Have always practiced their, Act in accordance with the Civil Defence volunteers.
