It has volume, weight and space in the air. Artists have used various materials to create sculptures and those materials have become the identification of art work. The beauty of the sculpture is caused by light and shadow. It can be done in 4 ways: molding, carving, casting and forming, but most of the deva are made of molding, because it is easier to create than other methods.

In order to make the successful art work, the creators need to play an important role in the development of the Buddhist art work to advance and quality. The creator must have faith in Buddhism. In addition, the creator must have expertise in that type of art. As well as the understanding of the doctrine of Buddhism and Buddhist philosophy, therefore, the creators will be able to create the great and valuable work. The aforementioned qualities show the difference from the creators of the art that do not have the expertise or create art to respond to their own ideas. However, the creation of Buddhist art is not an easy thing to create. The creator must rely on many factors and elements by using the stories in the past to serve the present.
