There are 3 objectives of this research on An Analytical Study of Buddhadhamma Based on the 6th Full Moon Ceremony of Wat Phrathatchaehang, Nan Province as follows: 1) to study on history and importance of 6th Full Moon Ceremony of Wat Phrathatchaehang in Nan Province; 2) to study on Buddhist Principles shown in 6th Full Moon Ceremony of Wat Phrathatchaehang in                       Nan Province; and 3) to analyze on value of 6th Full Moon Ceremony of                         Wat Phrathatchaehang in Nan Province.

          This research is a Qualitative Research that was conducted by studying on related documents, reports, and Local scholars with structural interview created by the research under the objectives of this research consisted of both open-ended questions and close-ended questions.
 
The informants were leaders of public sector (community), general populations, tourists, related persons, monks, and local scholars living nearby.             They were divided into 3 groups : Group 1 consisted of 3 leaders of public sector; Group 2 consisted of 13 community leaders and related monks; and Group 3 consisted of  8  Dhamma practitioners, tourists, and related populations.
          The research found that Wat Phrathatchaehang Festival or 6th Full Moon Ceremony is an important event held to worship Phrathatchaehang where the Buddha’s left wrist relic is placed. The festival is on the 9th day of the 6th month, north, for 7 days and 7 nights. The festival was first organized by PhrayaKanmuang and later Nan’s rulers followed this practice until it becomes a tradition to be inherited by Nans. The principles of Dhamma found in this work are Puññakiriyavatthu (the 3 bases of meritorious actions), Sangahavatthu (4 bases of  social services), and Sārāniyadhamma (6 states of conciliation), which is a practical framework for cultivating awareness of unity. The value of the tradition has 5 aspects as follows: 1) Lifestyle values, the 6th Full Moon Ceremony, Wat Phrathatchaehang is bound to the way of life of Nans. By respecting the sacred heart and is the annual relics of people born in the Year of the Rabbit. 2) Art and culture values and traditions, found that the 6th Full Moon Ceremony Wat Phrathatchaehang is part of the tradition and culture that has been practiced and inherited since the year                 B.E. 1896 onwards. 3) Architectural values, Wat Phrathatchaehang has an architectural style of Nan Architecture. Which is a unique architectural style of Nan Architecture.               4) Economic and social values, the 6th Full Moon Ceremony, Wat Phrathatchaehang, Nan province has influenced tourism activities of Thais. Especially in the provinces near Nan in the northern region and foreigners and 5) historical value,                  Wat Phrathatchaehang Temple has a history and important history for 666 years, considered as an important historical site that is old and has historical evidence confirmation of construction and related traditions clearly.
