KMITL confers the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to the Rector

King Mongkuts Institute of Technology Ladkrabang votes on a resolution unanimously on May 21, 2551 to confer Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to Phra Dharmakosajarn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The Institute has decided to confer the degree to the Rector at about 14:00 hour on October 26, 2551 at Wat Prayurawongsawat in Bangkok.
The KMITL believes that Phra Dharmakosajarn is one who has the knowledge and capacity to see from his works that appear in the academic fields in the forms of articles, lectures and speeches, and the works in the sense of monk community administration, and the propagation of Buddhism. He did much for the propagation and spread of Buddhism inside as well as outside of the country, nationally and internationally.
He exerts himself for the development of the studies for monks and thus becomes the important pillar for the propagation of Buddhism. And also he presents the true essence of dhamma to Thai people and the international communities to understand the dhamma principle in order to coexist with peace, happiness and help create continuously last long peace.
