At 13:00 hr : September 8, 2551 Phra Dharmakosajarn, the Professor and Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University together with Vice-Rector for Administration, Vice-Rector for Planning and Development, Dean of Graduate School, Dean of Department of Buddhism, Dean of Department of Education, Director of Buddhist Research Institute, Assistant to Rector for General Affairs, Director of Central Division, Director of Registration and Evaluation Division and the group numbering 14 members met the head of the Jokye Order of Korean Buddhism of the Republic of South Korea (Most Venerable H.H. Bub Jon, The Supreme Patriarch of the Jokye Order of Korean Buddhism) at the residence of the Supreme Patriarch, Wat Hayin, Chungchongnam-do, the Republic of South Korea.
In this meeting, the Rector of MCU respectfully inform about the undertaking of the university, the preparations for the celebration of the international visakha pucha day following the resolution of the United Nations and entrust the abbot of Hayin to continuously be the coordinating representative.
Thereafter the Rector of MCU and the group walked along to see the undertaking of the temple as Wat Hayin is the place, collecting the Tripitaka written down on 81,258 logs and called Tripitaka Koreana which has been registered as UNESCO World Heritage, and regarded as another important place of Buddhism.
